Hi there! Welcome to my blog. Other than photography, writing has always been a passion of mine. I regularly keep a journal, I'm known for my extra long emails, and yes, I even wrote a dissertation. So, as Kristine Pringle Photography began to grow, it seemed only natural to retire the paper journal and begin this online adventure. I will use this site for posting pictures and stories from weddings and other photo shoots, and also for sharing personal pictures of the people and places I love. To my super cool clients, I am truly honored that you chose me to capture your memories. I hope that you enjoy the sneak peek of your photos. To my prospective clients, hopefully this will give you a little taste of what it’s like to work with me, and the kind of images you can expect. Thanks for stopping by! ~Kristine **PS - to view exclusively weddings, engagement sessions, or lifestyle photography, use the "categories" link above.
This summer I got to photograph Tonya and Greg's wedding at the amazing Veritas Winery. What a perfect, perfect day. Seriously. Beautiful couple - check. Awesome family and friends - check. Who love to dance - check. Amazing venue - check. Details everywhere - check. Gorgeous weather, complete with a 15 minute shower for good luck - check. I could go on and on. But the best part is this...
Tonya and Greg are parents to adorable 3-year old Lilly. So this was not just the day that Tonya and Greg got married, it was the day that Lilly's Mommy and Daddy became husband and wife. And Lilly (as judging from the pictures) was beyond happy.
Tonya & Greg, thank you for asking me to capture your beautiful wedding. It was beyond perfect and I am so happy for your sweet family. Lots of love! ~Kristine

I just loved everything about this beautiful downtown Richmond wedding. From the bride's two dresses, her blue shoes and brooch bouquet, all of the adorable kids, the trolley, the perfect sunset, writing with sparklers, I could go on and on.
What an AMAZING backyard wedding! I have always LOVED the movie "Father of the Bride" -- and at this wedding I felt like I was photographing it -- only better. For starters, the bride made her grand entrance on her HORSE! Everyone was crying, including the groom. Then there were purple shoes, cowgirl boots, Superman socks, a candy table, a dug-up bottle of bourbon, tons of dancing, perfect weather, and just LOVE LOVE LOVE! The way that Bryan and Jacqueline look at each other could make even the least romantic person swoon! Jac & Bryan, thank you for the privilege of documenting your beautiful wedding. It was perfect, just as you are for each other! Lots of love! ~Kristine

What a PERFECT wedding in the OBX! Not a cloud in the sky, with dolphins and even WHALES jumping all day long (with pictures to prove it!). We met up with Vicky & Jason at their beach house in Nagshead, and then headed to Manteo for the ceremony and reception at 108 Budleigh. It was truly a photographer's dream -- a super fun wedding party and family with so much laughter and tears! Thank you Vicky and Jason for asking us to document your wedding -- we loved every minute and hope you love the pics! Hugs! ~Kristine & Jessica

It was one of those perfect 70 degree fall days at King Family Vineyards for Lindsey and Jake's wedding, and I am so honored to have been a part of it. They are two of the sweetest people you could meet -- and so are their families and friends! Lindsey and Jake decided to see each other before the ceremony, and I just LOVE the LOVE that shines through in those photos. Lindsey & Jake, thank you for asking me to be a part of your wedding day! It was magical, and I am so happy for you both! Hugs! ~Kristine

What a gorgeous Charlottesville wedding! The ceremony was held at St. Paul's Memorial Church at the University of Virginia and the reception was on the downtown mall -- at the Jefferson Theater. It was the first time I had photographed a wedding at either of these places, and wow, they were just awesome. Throw in the sunny weather we had, a beautiful bride with one of the most stunning dresses I've seen, her handsome & doting hubby, a FUN wedding party (complete with sunglasses and top hats), and two lovely families and we had a recipe for perfection.
Niki & Ian, from your engagement session to your wedding, I have loved every minute of being your photographer. Thank you for all the laughs and for making my job so much fun. You will always hold a special place in my heart. Congratulations!! xoxo ~Kris

I have photographed THREE Baranowski weddings in the past year, and now I feel like part of their beautiful family! First it was Alicia & Jeremy, then it was Alex & Tommy, and then on August 3rd of this year, I photographed the 3rd and final one -- for Christine and Matt. Christine is seriously my hero with her crafty details. Think monograms, seersucker, handpainted signs, cowgirl boots -- Pinterest needs to have these pictures so that other brides can benefit from her talent!
Me and my 3 lovely brides, Alex, Alicia and Christine.
I'm so lucky to have photographed all 3 of their weddings from July 2011 to August 2012. I have 6 great new friends!
Then it was time to party.
Christine & Matt, on this Thanksgiving Eve, I just want to say that I am truly blessed to know you and you are truly blessed to have found each other. With so much love and appreciation! XOXO ~Kristine
